[PS018] DigiTube – Time to Chill

This has been a complicated week, but today has been a sunny day again, and after a relaxing walk near the sea I’ve found the new reference of Public Spaces Lab on my mailbox, a very nice downtempo EP signed by DigiTube. I guess that a walk and a good album on a sunny Sunday are those little things able to make your day. Sometimes our problems are so simple as we want to see them… Thanks Public Spaces & DigiTube for sharing this album with us, good job.

What if we place ads in our MP3 files ?

Recently I’ve placed ads on the RSS feed of this blog (I hope my readers do’t angry because of that), and I’ve also been editing some ID3 tags for the mp3 files of the new compilation on superssonica.net, and I’ve thought… (yes, sometimes I think). Wouldn’t it be great if we could place ads in our MP3 files ? I have no idea about how difficult is this for developing, but I think could be great for copyleft musicians and also for the commercial ones. Personally, if I can download a HQ file with my favorite artist’s theme for free, I guess that some ads are not a problem, if Youtube places them on the videos we upload, why can’t the creators place our own ads in our music ? Would this be a valid way to support the Music Business on the web environment and the P2P age ? It’s just an idea, but IMHO maybe it’s not a so bad one… What do you think about this ?
